The Sensatronics Monitor

The Sensatronics EM1 monitoring component in the Q3ADE 3G Management Platform provides a graphical interface to the Sensatronics EM1 environmental sensing devices.

The Sensatronics EM1 monitoring component is included with the Q3ADE 3G standard installation and will be loaded automatically when a Sensatronics device is discovered by the NMS autodiscovery function.

You can monitor up to 8 Sensatronic devices with the free Q3ADE 3G license.

Monitor the Sensatronics sensors graphically

A single Sensatronics device provides features to monitor up to 4 groups, each with a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor and a wetness sensor.

The Sensatronics monitoring interface offers an attractive graphical presentation of the current status of the sensors. The default presenation (as illustrated to the right of this text) may be tailored in a number of ways to suit your needs.

View the measurement history graph

The Sensatronics monitor will retain the measured values for any amount of time (default 3 months). The measurement history may be viewed through the graph viewer, which is invoked by a single click on the relevant gauge. You may then zoom in on details by a simple interactive operation.

The grap view may also be tailored with respect to time scale, temperature scale, colors and lead texts.

Finally, you may print or export the graph to be used in reports etc.

Generate alarms when the measured values exceed specific limits

Each Sensatronics monitor may be "armed" with up to four "alarm levels". If the value exceeds any of these alarm levels, then a Q3ADE alarm will be raised.

Combine the alarm monitoring with the alert function of the Fault Management Services, and you can have an e-mail forwarded to any number of receivers when e.g. the temperature exceeds specific limits.
